What we need
  • Up to 3 customized and professionally designed graphic(s)
Additional details

Create 3 graphics for a public history community organization. One should be a family tree, the other a map, and the third an abstract series of boxes symbolizing data.

What we have in place
  • We currently have a sketch, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have a basic website, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $3,002 , allowing us to better serve the community.

It will help us draw in more people to serve and clearly explain our organization.

Prep: Distribution of Prep Materials
  • Volunteer Manager shares with Professional the intended platform(s) where graphics will be posted, ideas for copy, and images to include in the graphics (if any)
  • Volunteer Manager and Professional discuss the objective of the graphic, key audiences, and visual branding guidelines
  • Volunteer Manager shares examples of graphics or memes they like with the Professional

Milestone 1: Preliminary Design
  • Professional drafts three graphics using different themes to share with the Volunteer Manager
  • Volunteer Manager chooses one draft as a primary theme and provides feedback

Milestone 2: Graphic Creation
  • Professional provides Volunteer Manager with first draft of graphic
  • Volunteer Manager provides Professional with up to two rounds of feedback

Milestone 3: Final Graphic Delivered
  • Professional delivers final version of the graphics and explains how to upload image(s) to the Organization’s chosen platform(s)

One Shared Story's mission is to expand what we know about the past so we can better understand the present and work together to create compassionate, inclusive communities for the future.
To that end, we combine archival genealogical research with digital mapping technologies to create publicly accessible databases and archives devoted to hidden history in Central Virginia.
